JWC is a roofing company first. Composition, metal, tile, slate and the low-slope systems that go on commercial buildings, on houses across Southlake and Grapevine and Keller and on schools, churches and warehouses across the Metroplex. Jason Webber owns and runs it, and the office, the estimators, the project managers and the production team all sit in the same building in Southlake.
The part that makes a difference to a homeowner is the second license. Most roofers are roofers, and a hailstorm does not confine itself to the roof. The same stones dent the gutters, tear the window screens, chip the paint on one elevation and flatten a cedar fence, and the usual result is four companies, four schedules and four invoices for one storm. As a fully licensed general contractor, JWC can carry the whole scope instead of the top of it.
The credentials are all checkable, which is the only kind worth listing. Verified as a licensed roofing contractor by the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. A HAAG Certified Inspector for commercial roofing systems, which is the methodology a large part of the insurance industry assesses damage against. A member of the National Roofing Contractors Association. Accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
Every inspection is free, takes about 15 to 20 minutes, and ends with a written report and photographs that belong to the owner whether or not anything happens next. Where the honest answer is that the roof is fine, that is what the report says.
